About DaisyLizard Ink
DaisyLizard Ink was established in 2003 by Betsey Lenz. Its mission is to provide the world with cheerful, colorful, vaguely-Germanic drawings.

In 1994, the very first DaisyLizard Ink drawings were created for Betsey's nephew who was in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Mount Sinai. The instructions from Betsey's sister were simple, "He needs something cheerful and bright to liven up his room. We need to be able to sterilize it. You're artistic. Draw something."

From her Grad. School apartment in Missouri, Betsey drew happy smiley faces with bodies. Based on her brief stint at German School in Illinois, she figured they had to wear lederhosen and dirndls. The drawings were cheerful, ethnic in an Eastern-European kinda way, and cute, so she sent them off to her nephew. He loved them as did the staff and parents.

Now, with modest sales in New England, and nieces who clamor for "more pictures of Queen Princesses," it is time to take DaisyLizard Ink online.
